Whatever happened to those cool, old postcards? Massive letters, ridiculous locations. They could make even the worst holiday spots seem aspirational.

The art of postcard sending and hand-written greetings seems to be an increasingly forgotten medium, even though it always feels great to send or receive them. With that in mind, we've created Postcardiology to champion the good ol', unsung postcard!

Postcardiology is an art and postcard project. Inspired by vintage travel postcards, our playful contemporary designs can be sent from a myriad of made up locations.

Our mission is to bring to life surreal and fictional locations that transport you to another time and place. Embrace your imagination and travel beyond the realms of possibility with these unusual greetings. 

These products are created and manufactured in the UK using recycled materials wherever possible. 

Postcardiology is another startup that was born out of 2020's lockdown. Knowing that countless numbers of holiday makers couldn't go away as planned, and had more time on their hands to keep in touch, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to bring these ideas to life. Locked down or not, this is an important period of time to document, and also an important time to keep in touch with friends and family. A solution to which the postcard is no stranger. 

We're comprised of a small, independent London-based creative team with a penchant for nostalgic, vintage illustration and a love of travel. 

 

Postcardiology believes in sustainability. We use recycled materials for our postcards, packaging and across other products wherever possible. Postcards also use up half the amount of regular greetings cards! Even better.
